Description

A classic blend of Rhone varietals from the 1700s which is blended for a smooth wine after barrel aging for over a year. The blending is performed by the winemaking family and selection is made on the combination that gives the best smooth wine. What is unique about this wine is how the flavors appear one after the other. When tasting this wine the first flavor is strawberry from the Grenache, then the deeper Syrah flavors hit the pallet. Lastly there is a little kick at the end from the Mourvèdre. Every year the blend ratios are different as the base wines vary particularly the Mourvèdre.
